DynaTag |
As a general rule the bigger the tag, the greater the distance between pedestals. The distances can also be affected by other variables such as type of material protected, or electrical environment. The table below lists the average distances.
Although the system may work beyond these distances, its efficiency will be compromised and in the long term you are more likely to have problems such as a high rate of false alarms, lack of detection etc...
In city areas we recommend a technician to install the system for you. This is because there tends to be large amounts of interference in cities.
In country areas self installation is possible. Not only do you save money on travelling technicians, but you start to learn about your system and with the help of our telephone back up line, will be able to service it in the future.
If you dont feel comfortable with this idea, speak with your electrician or handy man who should be able to complete the job. We can always provide installation and service from the nearest capital city.
